⭐ Downtown Dadeville — Patriotic Week Preview

Dadeville is gearing up for a full week of semiquincentennial pride as July Fourth approaches. The Dadeville Beautification Board and the Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to dress the entire downtown area in red, white, and blue, creating a festive backdrop for the celebration.

Local shops and businesses around The Square will be showing off their patriotic spirit from Memorial Day through Labor Day, helping set the tone for a summer filled with community events and hometown charm.

The biggest moment of the week lands on Friday, July 3, when Keebler Park hosts a special 250‑minute celebration honoring America’s 250 years. From 8 a.m. to 12:10 p.m., visitors can enjoy heritage demonstrations—like quilting, caning, and other traditional crafts—along with games, prizes, and family‑friendly activities. Midweek surprises are also planned, including a Thursday ice cream bar at Two Ghosts Coffee from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Event organizers are currently inviting vendors who create handmade or traditional items to take part in the festivities. Anyone interested can reach out to Elaine Forbus at eforbus@dadeville.org for details.
